The summary of our visit to VON Europe 2007
On June 11 – 14, 2007 Stockholm, Sweden hosted the largest VoIP conference and expo VON Europe Spring 2007, which covered key issues in IP communications technology.
The exhibition gathered together over 3000 top managers from leading European companies working on fixed, mobile and broadband communication markets and highlighted the technology critical issues, including: VoIP, Fixed Mobile Convergence, SIP, IPTV, IMS, IPTV and corporative VoIP.
Talking about VoIP technologies, it’s worth mentioning that big interest was drawn by presented billing models and variety of VoIP services. Apart from overall VoIP market issues, the conference focused on VoIP security questions, codec increase and need for transcoding.
In the light of new requirements presented on VON Europe 2007, the products of IntereXchange Carrier (IXC) were particularly interesting. Offered IXC Softswitch solution and developed on its basis modules of advanced billing with analytical features, as well as modules of codec and protocol conversion most fully reflected the latest trends in developing IT market.
The exhibition proved once again increasing interest of VoIP providers in providing a wide spectrum of variety of services on Internet access. However, it was pointed out that existing business models today can no longer fully respond to the requirements of growing market and this continues to cause tension and serve s motivating factor for its further development.

IXC Softswitch gets certified by VerizonVoIP Network of IXC’s customer NationWide, deployed on the basis of IXC Softswitch, was successfully tested with the production Verizon VoIP Network in terms of operability. The certificated was given for Wholesale and IPCarrier products.
Wholesale specific tests for signaling, routing and protocol were executed to determine product operability.
Testing was performed using the requirements and assumptions as provided in the Verizon Wholesale Interop Testplan version 1.10.

IXC presented its products on the 2nd VoIP Expo & Conference China 2006
On Novermber 8-9 Shanghai, China welcomed the 2nd VoIP Expo & Conference China 2006, which is one of the biggest VoIP events in Asia.
Traditionally, the conference served as an interactive platform for communication of many line tele net carriers, mobile carriers, servers, cable carriers, VoIP equipment and software manufacturers. This year over 3000 experts and professionals in VoIP had a chance to learn about latest news and trends in VoIP industry.
The Ukrainian VoIP market was represented by IntereXchange Carrier (IXC), which develops a wide range of modern communication software systems and technologies for communication providers and corporate clients. IXC introduced clients and the participants with the latest product updates. IXC solutions, developed on the basis of IXC VoIP Softswitch, attracted special interest on the part of exhibitors and visitors. The most relevant were the introduced solutions of using the IXCPHONE Solution by end users for calls from IP-telephones or their software analogues and building a corporate VoIP network with the use of Internet resources.
The Conference once again highlighted the growing interest in VoIP services, applications and VoIP technologies in all. It can be summarized that the VoIP Expo & Conference China became not only an important regional event, but also reached its goal in promoting international communication and cooperation of VoIP network technologies and applications.

Automated Account System 'IXC SYSTEM' has passed certification in Russia.INPO «Expertise and Certification Center “Infonet”, Moscow, has made the conclusion that Automated account system 'IXC SYSTEM' (SW version 4.1) corresponds to set requirements towards automated settlements with users for telecommunication services.
Issued certificate No. OC-1-CT-0018 confirms the possibility to use automated account system “IXC System” for accounting telephone services in PSTN (international, long-distance and local network), services of data transmission networks, “telematic” services and transmission of speech information through IP networks.
